value of sport seats from es

i found an es in a junkyard with the sport seats. i think they were leather, i don't really remember.
anyway, they are really ripped up, and the foam inside the driver seat was probably a little messed up, too.
my car has decent vinyl non-sport seats. would it be worth the trouble to get these and re-leather them according to Jordan's article? how much should i pay (max)?
how much would it cost for the materials to redo them, approximately?

    thanks,
    evan

in that shape, $50 or less. you could spend anywhere from $300-$700 to have them recovered depending on what materials you use and who does the work.

if i get them, i would reupolster them myself, according to Jordan's article in the tech section. i was curious about how much a project like that would cost to do (in materials).

materials to reupholster my entire interior (door cards excluded) in houndstooth cloth cost me only 60 bucks. vinyl (which is what they probably were) should be around the same, if not cheaper. leather of course is going to cost quite a bit, though.
