Rear cabrio seat in coupe? can it be done? Pics?

hey, i had a chance to look at a buddies gorgeous 'vert the other day, i was pondering to myself about the possibility to run a rear vert seat in my 2door? i mean, i would need the cabrios' side panels in the rear, and a few other little thingys, but it just looks plain out of this world?!
anyone ever do this? parts list if it can be done? it would be the nicest thing to do to an interior, in my point of view...

No, the cabby seat is narrower than the sedan seat. If you want that style seat, find someone selling an M3 rear seat.

Hmm no. Never seen it done and with good reason. Especially since the M3 interior bolts right in.

even with the cabby rear interior trim inserted? I noticed how wide the rear panels are, i didn't know if we have the same layout for mounting as the cabrio?

It don't see it happening without a lot of work. It just wouldn't look right to have narrow cabby rear seats in a 2dr sedan either.

Its been done before, there was a red e30 in PBMW magazine a year or so ago, he had converted the door panels and the vert storage lid as the rear deck. But like Barry said thats a lot of work
