Are you talking about the plastic clip that the buckles snap into? If so, I think they are held in place by 2 nuts down deep in the foam.

ok so i have figured it out, they were held by plastic fasteners like these there are 2 on the back of the single belt clip holder and 4 on the double belt clip holder. you just gotta pry them out with brute force. they are heavy duty ones and they are one piece with the belt buckle holder.

Where did you source your material from? That interior sounds like it will be baller.

i was going to use the original piping and find somekind of paint to match, but i realized how easy it was to make piping using the vinyl i was using for the seats. so yeah i'm doing everything sewing/piping.

Reupholstering is a skill I wish I had. Can't wait to see more!
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.
