dash covers from bavauto or bmpdesign??

Anyone bought these? I'm wondering how they fit and look, because my dash is cracked beyond belief and I don't really want to go the carpet cover route. Anyone with pics or opinions on these?

Terrible pieces...feel like a big fiberglass piece sitting atop your dash...and they make LOTS of creaking noises, etc.

Wouldn't recommend a cap. Just get some sunshades and buy another non cracked dash.

Exactly, which is why your do several applications of Leatherique and keep it shaded. No big deal.

Get a used dash. Had the Bavauto dash cover and it fit like crap.

Arizona cooked mine, without treatment (mine I can tell never was) you can kiss your dash goodbye. When I bought the car it had them. I'll eventually get a new one but the dash cover hides the awful cracks for now. They make plastic ones that are supposed to fit snug? No wonder they make noise, old school carpet like for me.

The bav auto covers fit like shit. The epoxy they give you does a crappy job of bonding.

thanks for all the feedback, my dash is really fukkd up with 4 or 5 cracks running from the defost vents to the front. It's hard to find a good used dash in Hawaii and the shipping from the mainland is very expensive. I guess I'll keep my eyes open at local junkyards.

Yeah your better off replacing your dash. Yes its a PITA but I would rather have a cracked dash then a replacement dash cover from BMP.

My dash is terrible. I don't know what to do about it. So I will probably do nothing.

I just dont wanna plop a new dash in then few months later it cracks. Can the bav auto one be trimmed to fit well or is it just all around shit?

                        Sold it.

there is a leather covered one around, someone post a pic of that tan type interior with the leather dash.

mine cracked last week for the first time- i was so mad about it. I think i might just pull it and have it covered with leather like the dude overseas did.

not only will it not have crappy vinyl to crack again but it will look amazing in leather.

getting it wrapped in leather will be very expensive to get to look good... it has potential to look terrible if it not done just right
