    whats an mtech1 worth?

hey, i found an mtech 1 steering wheel in a junkyard, but it would need to be recovered and have the color strip replaced. the center looks to be in good condition. what would be a reasonable price to pay for the wheel?
    thanks,

depends what size it is. there's the usual 380mm one which is anywhere from $40-60, and then there's the 370mm one which I believe is the m3 one, that one costs $200+ used and is a bit rare

I'm not really sure what your plans on of this car, but if you're just DDing and looking for a simple pleasure as an upgrade, the 380mm should be good enough for you. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste so much money on the 370mm one, you can get an aftermarket momo or something for much cheaper and of smaller diameter.

    Good luck,

well i plan on changing the car to blue with the blue mtech interior and the hella wheel that has the blue and grey stripe on it. i just saw this haggered wheel and thought i might be able to make some money. where is it measured? outter diameter of the wheel or inner? right now its on a 325es.

No more than $30 in the condition you describe. The main problem would be removing it if the steering wheel is locked and there isn't a key on the ignition.
