    e36 M3 steering wheel swap

Has anyone swapped the e36 M3 steering wheel rim onto a airbag equipped e30?? As most of you know it's leather wrapped, has the motorsport colored stiching, and ergonomic shapes at the 10 and 2 locations. I figure it might be a direct swap. your thoughts??

Yea, I'll probably do that. Those wheels are going for cheap on ebay. I would really like the "subtibility" of the swap. Oh well, thanks for the quit response.

the e36 m3 rim itself, excluding the airbag assembly is at about $25 with an hour left in auction... I'm broke as a joke and thats still cheap to me.

I believe that the splines are different from an e30 to an e36. It will not fit.
