Your 91 is a joke, perfect condition, low price, etc.. I hate you for it

I'm lucky mine only has 1 crack, shit gets funky around this time of year in NY. Over night its 12 degrees, then during the day it hits 45-50. Stuff contracts and expands tons.

Have had my car from day 1, developed a small crack about 3-4 years ago right in the passenger side holder-area of the dash - after living for 3 years in Louisiana. It was so hot there you would practically need oven mitts to start it after it baked in the sun a day That crack has recently gotten worse and now I am noticing cracks on the driver side behind the cluster pod.

My parts car was worse off when I bought than my own..it is a california car and has major cracks esp on the drivers side.

Hmmm....maybe I won't be so eager to just replace the dash if it can happen that easily again...

Im sure the cold plays more of a role in cracking it. Because I live in South Africa, very hot country and I dont have a crack in my 1989 dash. And its sits in the sun nearly all day. Maybe thats it, the sun destroyed my gearbox.
