Mutha Flockin Dash Cracks SUCK!

So, I haven't driven my 4-door for about a week until I decided to move it back onto the driveway from the street. Well, DAMN if it didn't sprout another Big-Assed dash crack! That's crack number 5. I think my dash has a CRACK addiction. Been using black flexible sealant for the other cracks with some success. Guess the next step is to get a dash cover.

On a side note, have you ever heard of dash flocking? Rally guys started doing it to cut down on glare. I've thought about doing it to cover up my dash cracks. lol

I'm going to have mine done if it ever gets a big crack. Done one dash swap, I really don't want to do it again for another one that's just going to crack again.

I have one on my e30 even tho it doesn't have any cracks. I've had it since 04 and it's awesome for getting rid of any and all dash glare on the windshield. Great addition esp. if you have good glass
Mine's from bav auto or something...I got it from ebay, but the original owner got it from bav auto

What the FLOCK! You have to seal the cracks in the dash first before applying the flocking material! I already been using black silicone adhesive to fill the cracks. So why bother with the flock if I still have to seal the cracks. What they need is to cut an e30 dash template and make a black adhesive backing and top to lay over the dash so you can just flock over while the template. Then what happens if another crack develops? Fock the flocking!
