oh man that sucks. mines not too bad I think I can get a paintless dent guy to fix it.

I would remove the seat and see how hard it is to get the carpet up without removing everything. There are some plugs underneath the carpet. You may be able to remove the plugs in the floor from underneath the car and use a hairdryer from underneath to dry it out.

that's what i did! all day in this record-breaking heat and she smells like cowpie.

and ryan...my buddy did that once...my friend was backing up beside me in the denny's parking lot and he opened his door and scared the driver who gasses it and caught on/caved in the quarter panel on my truck. his ass still owes me money for that...

Absorber synthetic drying chamois would work well to soak up the water. After that it may help to undo the door sill molding and lift the carpet a few inches and let it air out, or use a heatgun/blowdryer to speed up drying. Then just park it in the sun for a few hours. Can't beat sunlight to dry things out

if it makes you feel better my car just rolled back into my piece of shit daily. the 30s door was open and it caught the bumper. dam near sprung my door and gave me another dent.... FML

last night the spare gallon of distilled water i keep for radiator top-offs fell over and spilled nearly half of its content onto my passenger foot-well. there was actually standing water. i used rags and tried to press up most of the water but i couldn't get nearly all of it. moved my car tonight and it smells like dirty dirty feet. bad. what do i do...?
