This has also probably been covered but I couldn't seem to find one for my exact application; have a 1990 325i with the standard 4-spoke airbag wheel, bought an Mtech1 wheel and am wondering how best to remove the airbag wheel and install the Mtech1 wheel. Thanks.

remove the cover under the steering column (little plastic thing). Ungplug the airbag. Remove the airbag wheel. Install new wheel with appropriate spacers. Enjoy beer. ;) -
Your going to need to pull out the white pin as well. You'll know what I mean when you get the wheel off.
