I have seen it down. Search all the e30 forums. I can't remember which one. It does look nice, better than vaders in my opinion as they are smaller.

from what I remember, stock 911 SC seats were tall and heavy, E30 sport seats are much better

One advantage I see is that 911 seats don't break down (mechanisms, shocks, upholstery, etc...) like e30 seats do. Also, the SC seats probably don't weigh all that far off of an e30 sport seat. (at least, the OEM RS seats in my 911 don't weigh all that much more than an e30 sport, but are built/upholstered much better/beefier). They're actually made by Recaro, and it shows.

Granted, e30 sports in good condition 'fit' the e30 interior much better. Vlad is right, the 911 seats are typically taller (full height headrest integrated into seat back). But it would be interesting to see.

probably too tall indeed, but that might not totally suck.

Truthfully.. I dont think ANY Bimmer seats are comfy. My 330i, e30 sports, and comfort seats.. really pretty much suck

This is why I went to MkII VW Recaros, especially for a bigger guy (6' 1", 225 lbs.). I think sport seats are incredibly uncomfortable, the bolstering sucks, and they are HEAVY AS HELL. My Recaros, with brackets and E30 sliders weigh almost 10 lbs. less each then the sport seats.

I used to have a 944 turbo with the optional sport seats, and THOSE were the best seats ever....
