Map Light Mirror Removal ?

I have one of these in my track car and would rather let someone who'll use it have it!
Anyone care to share the quick and dirty on how to pull this w/out breaking it!? :)

urm, pull. that's the only way to get it off. if you push it forward towards the glass it won't pop out as hard, I supppose.

Try twisting first, then pulling. It's spring-loaded and twisting eases the tension ever so slightly.

So you're basically ripping the glue off of the windshield?

it's not glued to the windshield. It's clipped into the roof.

hahaha.. what a design!
It's literally a spring loaded pin.
I pulled the map light mirror from my track car and replaced it w. the regular mirror from my parts car. Weight savings! :p
