I think that wood looks like shit...However, if it was a very dark almost black stain it would look amazing. I love subtle wood, but not that orange platicky looking crap.

My friend's Audi has a very dark, matte finish wood trim on black leather and it looks tits.

A lot of Audi's come stock with wood dash trim, most of it looks pretty good.

My friend Evan's 86 190E had wood trim stock as well, he just replaced it all with carbon fiber panels that he cut out himself. Looks badass.

The wood in my 190 was cheap/not wood too... CF in a 190 would look HOT, you should get some pics of that

My e30 came with those Alpina style wooden dash pieces. It also had wooden door pieces that were screwed straight into the door panels. It all looked rather shite to be honest.

I ripped out the door pieces, and hit up the dash pieces with a rattle can (glossy black - looks decent).
