You should've read the directions before you showed up at the party.:stupid:

You sure it's frozen? It could be caught on a bolt, that happened to me when I was just taking mine out last week. Just had to keep trying to force it past so I could get to my back bolts. Could also check the cable that connects to the outside rail lock.

It's frozen, or bent hella bad. The rear bolts are out and can't get to the front ones.

Ok, well I don't really know any tricks to get them unstuck. I guess could try some WD40 and maybe a hammer to the rail to get it started. That's about all I got.

find a large friend, pull up the lever and have them throw their weight into it. that's what i always did lol

Look under your seat and find whats catching on the rail, it could be that the bar is bent and one side or both are not lifting correctly, you can always do it manually. thats how i got my seat out when i had the same issue.

Hey I just had this problem and I separated the seat from the slider. Then I used a hammer and some penetrating lubricant to free the slide. But here's a link that might be helpful, http://www.esatclear.ie/~bpurcell/318isseat.html

I would check the rod connecting the lever and catch on one side to the other catch on the opposite side. If it is disconnected or bent, it won't pull the catch far enough for the seat to slide.
