are you going to adjust the bolster pattern so they dont end up lopsided?

Not liking the buttons. Plaid is different, would likely look good on Bronzite.

I honestly think it is interestingly cool/ different. It looks like it belongs in a vw mk2, all stanced and what not.
            Just my 2 cents.

I commend you on your attempt to make covers with a home machine. You did a good job for your first time, if you can get on an industrial walking foot machine I highly recommend it. They are 3 times faster than a home machine so you might have a learning curve. As someone stated, you just need to tweak your bolster patterns and use an automotive grade fabric so it will not fade or wear out quickly. No since doing all that work only to have to redo it in 6 months.
Since you like plaid here is something you might work towards as far as fitment goes. I have an advantage as I have done hundreds of e30 interiors over the years.

Unless you got loads of time and this is just a fun project for you, have Kevin sew up the patterns for you. His price is reasonable, quality is great and it will save you loads of time. Ditch the fabric by the way

It's more or less a " let's see if its possible" kind of thing, I like how diffrent the plaid is as apposed to the leather. But Ill probably contact Kevin on some materal choices.. I like doing the work myself, is rather spend 80 hours making the seat myself, then 80 hours working to pay for some one else to do it..
Thanks again for all the risponces..
                          89delphin- that made me LOL...

I think it looks cool. However, in a red car = blurg. In a dark green car = yes.

I'd rock it if it was a different color.
