Water pooling in trunk under jack?

I keep getting some pooling underneath the jack.....it was half covered in water last time I checked. I pulled the piece out and didn't see anything that looked like the issue. Is there a drain there that could be clogged?

Tail light housings, antenna grommet, broken spot weld near hinge, leaky window, side window trim panel (rain gutter) mounting bushes leaking, LOTS of stuff can leak back there.

i heard sunroof seal can cause it too?

tap the taillights and look for moisture in them also.

So, think I have some more maintenance to do....

          Trunk seal is fine, check.

Antenna grommet crumbled in my hand....ordered
Found water in the tail light housing.....seals ordered

We'll see if this takes care of it

Check the side window trim like Luke advised too, the plastic can get old and brittle and that leaves holes directly into the trunk. To check the sunroof drain, open the sunroof and run water through the rear holes, check in the trunk for proper drainage. Tail light gaskets are a huge culprit as well.

also take a look at the sunroof drain fittings that flush the water. the old gaskets go, i sealed mine with some black silicone.

and of course all of the other things above...

The oddest one is the hinge mount spotweld. It is just outside of the trunk seal.

I found one recently where the trunk seal was in backward. The gap was up, next to the back window. Duh!
