I keep getting some pooling underneath the jack.....it was half covered in water last time I checked. I pulled the piece out and didn't see anything that looked like the issue. Is there a drain there that could be clogged?

Tail light housings, antenna grommet, broken spot weld near hinge, leaky window, side window trim panel (rain gutter) mounting bushes leaking, LOTS of stuff can leak back there.

Check the side window trim like Luke advised too, the plastic can get old and brittle and that leaves holes directly into the trunk. To check the sunroof drain, open the sunroof and run water through the rear holes, check in the trunk for proper drainage. Tail light gaskets are a huge culprit as well.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury.
