I finally got around to removing the sound deadening tar from my car. Nothing a paint scraper and a heat gun didn't bring right up.
However, now I'm faced with a honey comb residual tar pattern over most of the floor. It gives some pretty good grip but is ugly and more importantly I'm afraid will get on things I don't want it to get on.
So that I don't have to dump 10 different types of brain cell reducing concoctions into my car before finding the right one, has anyone had any success with cleaning this out? What did you use? Thanks for any tips!
