Installing an uncut carpet - worth it to keep it uncut?

I picked up a used, but uncut anthracite carpet. When I do the swap, do you think it will be worth the extra work to install it without cutting it? How much additional work does it take? I know the cut will be hidden but I haven't take many shortcuts on my interior. Thanks

Geez Rob, how often do you change your carpet? Just cut it. No one will even know...oh wait.

      carpet

I just installed a new carpet. Go ahead and cut it - much easier and you will never be able to tell the difference

If you haven't assed it, why do it now. Or do it.

Or you could do it right and pull the dash while you are doing this and replace the gaskets there while doing the carpet install.

I decided to cut it and I'm glad I did. It was enough work just doing it the so-called "easy" way.
