Don't buy Wheelskins from bavauto either BTW. I did and made them get me the M3 e30 one after that.

Cloth.....sport.....seats...... I'd take cloth over vinyl anyday.

As for the accordian ebrake boot, I like it for some reason. To each their own....

Looks good. And I spy cloth sport seats. That is what mine will be like when I get them redone.

Thanks for the bump on the seats, they are really nice. I didn't realize how unusual they are in a 318is when I got the car, I guess I lucked out.

BTW it's not the boot so much that bothered me, I really like the leather handle though!

They came in basically all e36 to my knowledge, it was used and cost just north of $20.

              franz,

I have to agree with bwanac & m42technik. Although I like the look of the leather, I think that the vinyl/cloth door panels and cloth sport seats are by far the best options that ever came with the e30s. If they're kept in good shape (and yours is one of the best I've seen), they are really sharp.

Besides, cloth interiors don't crack and are a lot easier to take care of than the leather ones. ;)

Did the E30 M3 come with a leather ebrake handle? :?
I want to get the E30 m3 leather boot...so whoever is selling them or whowever knows a place where to get them..PM me.
                  thanks

BTW: I made the mistake of buying a E36 ebrake boot and crap faux acs ebrake handle for ...lets just say alot more than $40. A very dumb mistake.
Luckily I got my $ back by selling the boot/handle to a bmw cca member/e36 owner.
here is the e36 boot I purchase which didn't fit. Don't buy a e36 boot. end of story.

I got e30M3 boot from bavauto, beware there are 2 types, one with one stitch on top and one with 2, the 2 match factory leather handles much nicer IMO.

They quoted $48 for one and $43 for the other and they couldn't tell in advance which was which, I got the $43 one and it worked great.

Check my website, I did a little writeup on this and other stuff:

                      Jim,

To answer your question, no, the e30 M3 did not come with a leather ebrake handle. However, like franz has on his car, the e36 leather handle will slip right on and matches well with the e30 M3 ebrake boot. The ebrake handle is just a pressure fit, so a lot of different handles will work with it, though not all.

Do you have a part # for the double-seamed boot?

The correct part number for the e30 M3 parking brake cover is: 34 41 1 230 012. By the way, this is the only leather e-brake cover that the dealer shows (at least the four that I called). Niether them nor I have any idea where the single top-stitched covers come from. This part number is the double stiched one that is shown in the photos I posted.

Hope this helps/clarifies for anyone needing or wanting this part.

I see your signature advertises that you have the lowest OEM prices. How much are you charging for the leather e-brake boot?
