HELP! Central Locking System Problems!

why can't I own lock it manually if I undo the controller

Still trying to figure this out. Replaced the central locking system module with one I know that works and nothing happened.

Bump... so it looks like my car is stuck with the double lock feature on.

get some lubricant and work it into your trunk lock cylinder until you free it up so that you can access your trunk. Regardless of whether you have dead bolt (double lock) or not you should still have access to the trunk. If you manage to get into the car I would take both the passenger side and drivers side cylinders out. Since it is rare for the passenger side to seize you can clean it up better once out; The drives side may need rebuilding and this kit is available for about 40.00. the cylinders should be lubed every so often especially if subjected to cold weather to keep the moving parts free.To correct key to use would be the oem bmw black key. Don't be hard on it when you try to work the cylinder free otherwise you'll snap it in the lock. You don't want that...

It's not the cylinder, the cylinder is FREE after I removed the actuator for the trunk and drivers side door. Still cannot get the RF, RR, and LR door to unlock....

If the car is in deadbolt then it will not work from any side. Aside from this you probably put another fautly CLCM in. if the system is messed Id be damned to change every actuator and then replace the control mod and then try the system. You do sometimes have sync the locking system. don't ask as I don't know. :-)

Okay, so I put a known working central locking system unit in as it came from my girlfriends car. It really feels like the car is 'double locked' because nothing is opening.

I put an actuator in that was in the 'unlock' position in the drivers front door and I hear the unit CLICK but nothing happens.

Any other ideas? :)
