    Shift Knob

Do you think this shift knob would fit a bmw or even look good in one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lance...QQcmdZViewItem

Not sure of the fit, but it looks kinda cool.

cause i'm getting a short shifter and don't want the stock one and i don't feel like spending like 60 or more for a knob. Or even like 20 for the cheapest oem bmw one thats leather (which means it will last longer).

Also this guy sells this one too but i think i still kinda like the first one best.

this one might be able to fit something like the roundel on the top

Short shifter + miniscule shift knob = no fun.

IMO that looks like a golf ball, but redish black... Not sure what to suggest for you, but I love my aluminum shift knob, unfortunatly I have no idea who made it or what price it retails for. (I got it at a killer price though)

i think i am going to get the 2nd one. I'm gonna have a weighted collar soon so that will help w/ the light knob.

small shifters suck...you can't get a good hold on the shifter.....having something like what comes oem or a little shorter is the best...something small doesn't do anything but give you less grip when you need to change gears. get a used bmw leather shifter...$20cdn the most...i got my shifter and a mtech1 wheel for $35

I love my Rob Knob. I was suprised of how much it changed the feel of the shift.

yeah i want a knob that is going to last. leather wears out, metal looks pretty good but i think it looks kinda funny in a e30, so thats why i was thinkin of a carbon one.

                            Didn't you get the one from Tom's 318i? It's a UUC RobKnob.

I dissagree. I think it is all a matter of what you like personally. I have a small round knob in my MG and I like it. I have no problem shifting or with losing grip. And I have big hands.
