cause i'm getting a short shifter and don't want the stock one and i don't feel like spending like 60 or more for a knob. Or even like 20 for the cheapest oem bmw one thats leather (which means it will last longer).
Also this guy sells this one too but i think i still kinda like the first one best.
this one might be able to fit something like the roundel on the topLast edited by asubimmer; 09-29-2005, 09:47 AM.///Alpinweiß II 24v 91' 318is, Alpinweiß III 99' 323i, 04' Yamaha R6 SE for sale, 00' VW GTi, 83' El Camino BURNED, 01' P71sold, 92' Miatasold

small shifters suck...you can't get a good hold on the shifter.....having something like what comes oem or a little shorter is the best...something small doesn't do anything but give you less grip when you need to change gears. get a used bmw leather shifter...$20cdn the most...i got my shifter and a mtech1 wheel for $35Comment

i like my m-coupe knob.... but like a week after i got it there were some scratches in it and i was pissed.... then a month after that there were a few more.... so i tried to polish it and it didnt work... so i was like whatever.... i was looking at it the other day (over a year after purchase) and the damn thing isn't scratched it's cracking under the clear coat..... oh well.... its a nice $120 shift knobComment

yeah i want a knob that is going to last. leather wears out, metal looks pretty good but i think it looks kinda funny in a e30, so thats why i was thinkin of a carbon one.///Alpinweiß II 24v 91' 318is, Alpinweiß III 99' 323i, 04' Yamaha R6 SE for sale, 00' VW GTi, 83' El Camino BURNED, 01' P71sold, 92' Miatasold

Didn't you get the one from Tom's 318i? It's a UUC RobKnob.Originally posted by NathanIMO that looks like a golf ball, but redish black... Not sure what to suggest for you, but I love my aluminum shift knob, unfortunatly I have no idea who made it or what price it retails for. (I got it at a killer price though)Comment

I dissagree. I think it is all a matter of what you like personally. I have a small round knob in my MG and I like it. I have no problem shifting or with losing grip. And I have big hands.Comment
