    interior dye kits

Probably a repost but couldn't find anything. Any of you guys have any experience with kits that could touch up dashboards or something similar? Mine's looking disgusting and don't want to replace an entire unit.

^ That info is greatly appreciated. I have been looking for something to dye my interior all the same color. The PO of my car dyed the door pulls and map pockets, and the rear cards black. The interior of my car is SUPPOSED to be peralbeige. I HATE (no offense to anyone who digs this as it is not my taste) what my interior looks like. Looking forward to my next new mod.....

SEM tends to set the standard. I just did my dash and iit came out pretty well considering how much I invested ($4 for black caulking, $14 for the SEM color dye rattlecan, and $18 for the SEM spray texture. It's not perfect, and the SEM Graphite color is a hair lighter than OEM. But it really beats a super cracked dash like I had. Process is prep prep prep . . . to get rid of any oils and silicons. Then multiple LIGHT coats. When using vinyl dyes, the idea of one coat coverage should be out of your vocabulary. The dye soaks into the vinyl, and lighter coats soak in better.

Looks alot more appealing since it is way cheaper to do than buying another dash. It looks more gray though. I thought the dashes were black?????
