Serious answer, no the spline interface the steering wheels mount on in e30 and e92 are different sizes88 325is. S54, CSL airbox, Motec M800, Motec C127, Motec PDM15, Stoptech STR, MCS 2 way coilovers, Forgeline wheels, Recaro SPA, Eisenmann, Personal, lots of custom.
90 318is. As new OEM+, BBS LM, AST 4210 2 way coilovers, Wilwood SL6R/SL4R, Dynaudio, Recaro ExpertsComment

I had one my self and all it takes is alittle mod to the wheel it self in the form of alittle filing down of the splines with a foxtail file at the 12:00 position ( make sure you take them off) now the easy part....
Throw it in the trunk ~ It fit perfact there and know one has to know it was you who asked this question....

beanerg (love that screenname!), Stuck, over on e30tech did this on his e30. I'd love to see this done, even after all the haters have had their say. I'm thinking you would need the associated steering column or have the splines machined to match the e30.
Either option involves a load of work (obviously), but I think that it would be a cool project. I wanna see this done!Comment
