Which way to go...Houndstooth vs Recaro??

So now that Im getting to the point of interior, stumbled on a Houndstooth interior. Its not the cleanest ive seen but it just needs some love.
Which brings me to R3v to help me make A Decision.....Houndstooth or Recaro???? The Recaros will get reupholstered and use a stock rear bench. Houndstooth will get a deep clean and patch work.
Would like to keep things original but Recaros are a nice set to drive in...also looks HOT!!! So tell me what your opinions are so i can make the right choice!! Thanks!!
