    Few suggestions:
-Lay the adhesive on thick, but smooth, you don't want any runs at all but you need enough material that the flock can still well too.
-Go crazy with the flocking material, if you think you have the dash completely covered then you probably don't so add more. The adhesive they send you is semi-gloss when it dries and it will be painfully obvious where you haven't applied enough flock, trust me on this as I re-did my entire dash to repair those issues I had the first time.
-Work quickly, the adhesive only has like a 10-15 min. application window, after that the flocking wont stick as well. If you can make this a two person job I would definitely recommend that, one person apply adhesive and the other have the flocking material ready to go.
-Make sure to get everything covered the first time as you can't really "re-do" a single area as you will be able to see where you applied the adhesive the second time.

If you have any questions let me know.
    Good luck

Well... Got it done. Came out pretty good. It's not perfect, and I highly recommend having two people apply the flock. Also an air-gun will blow through the 3oz kit in about 10 seconds. Be sure to invest in the 16oz bag.

And without further ado... Here are pics.

Cut "V" into the cracks so the epoxy can get down in there.

      So Brittle!

      Plastic Epoxy time!

Forgot to take pics of us sanding down the epoxy. It was rough... I highly recommend using a dremel to power through it.

      Time for Bondo!!

Cobbled together a little plastic blast cabinet in order to catch all the excess flock fibers.

      FLOCKED!!!!

I did not have time to take any pics of me laying the adhesive. You only have about 10-15 minutes before it not tacky enough... and I was brushing it on like a mad man.

Spraying the flock was... not easy either. Like I had to refill the spray can with flock about 4 or 5 times. And I am racing to get it all sprayed on before the glue firmed up on me. I think it came out OK. Its not perfect and you can see in a few spots where the flock is not as thick as I would have liked. However... It looks about a thousand times better than it did being all faded and cracked to shit.

Hope this helps others accomplish as well. I will post pics with it re-installed eventually. Also I plan on flocking the glove box (minus the latch).

Looks great! I guess the true test is how well it holds up during installation.

Looks good man! Actually looks better than mine turned out honestly, even after re-doing mine I still have small patches that aren't fully coated. All in all, the flocked dash definitely looks better than a cracked one but in my case I'm still planning to replace it with a crack free one eventually.

It is Black. Came with black adhesive as well.

I don't have any updates since. Diablo 3 is ruining my life right now.

are you planing on doing anything else in flock as well? the console or the a pillars/sunroof(check light) panel?

i am planning on re-doing anything that had the same looking grain in my interior so that its uniform, and flocking is on my short list.

                          thanks

I think im going to do the glove box, and the rear shelf. I saw a 5 series headliner that was flocked, and that looked amazing. So I might do that as well, but I really just want to get the "lower" interior buttoned up before I start dicking with a perfectly fine tan headliner.

I just got paid, so I should have a few bucks in the budget to buy some carpet dye and what not so I can continue on with this.

Great job! I did this to the dash in my old 02. The only sufferance being I painted it with bed liner before flocking it.
My recommendation for others trying this is to use a small foam roller to put down the glue. It will be more even and will take less time.
