I spotted those awhile ago and wondered the same damn thing.
Doesn't make sense for racing etc., right?
Then I was ducking my head down to see the top of the speedo through my momo steering wheel, and I realized the important parts of the upsidedown gauges would be visible with a small-diameter wheel.
I don't know if that's why the cluster was done that way, but it was all I could come up with.STX e30

I'm interested in how custom gauge faces could be made. They sell white faces on eBay but never seen gray ones. How would you print them, since aren't some parts translucent to let the backlight through (noob question)?1990 BMW 325i CoupeComment
