    what can i do with this seat

    alright, as you can tell this seat is pretty beat up and warn, though ive seen worse. i would love to get it reupholstered however do not have the money. what is the best type of die? if anyone has dyed to blue id like to know how it turned out. also is there anyway i could make the tear in the middle a little less noticeable?

        i have seen some threads about products for leather conditioning that will bring those back...cant recall the product name though...

          Dying will put some color back but you will still have ripped and cracked seats in the end. Save your money from the dye and get them recovered when you can afford it.

              Get some Lexol leather conditioner and soak the hell out of it. Let it sit 10-15 minutes and buff it off. Repeat if necessary. That will soften it up and make it plush again. Then you could use some polish on it, then seal it, but that process is a bit of a pain in the ass. If you do use polish though, make sure you use a sealer or the polish WILL rub off ony our clothing, regardless of how much you buffed it off.

              If you can't find the supplies, PM me and I can hook you up with what you need, including polish and sealer.
