Mtech II wheel for E30 Swap

    Hey guys,

I'm about to pull the trigger on an e36 Mtech II steering wheel. I'm running an e36 steering rack on my e30 swap and wanted to make sure I'll be able to install the new wheel without any trouble and retain a functioning horn.

    Anything to worry about?

The E36 wheel won't work. Splines are different.

Thanks for the heads up, and just to be sure.....even though I am running an e36 steering rack the splines are still different?

Sorry for the noobery....I've never messed around with the wheels on these cars

Steering rack has nothing to do with the splines on the steering column.

Bumping this in my hopes that there might be some way to make an e36 wheel work in an e30. I like the non-airbag three spoke design, and they're cheap on ebay.
