    Recommendation on interior vinyl paint?

Any particular brands and instructions to follow? I have never attempted this, but would like to change mine to black from tan.

    black>tan

going from dark to light doesnt work very well.... at all- you'll end up with pooh colored seats.

if you go down this road, check out the interior section of my website to see whats up with dying vinyl.

btw, addissimo, did you use that same dye on ur carpet? if so, how many cans did it require just for the carpet?

I guess VHT spray dye is supposed to work really well.

Does it work on leather too? I have a few sets of black leather sport seats that have some wear on the bolsters. They are not torn or anything, it's just that the black is wearing down and I would like to redye those parts to make them nice and all black again.

I've used VHT vinyl dye, its good on plastic and vinyl but sucks or anything else. I would never dye seats with it.

I used a combo of VHT and a liquid dye to do my carpet. It turned out pretty well, but we'll see what daily wear and tear does to it once I get my engine built and back in.

I just painted my door panels today with duplicolor interior paint. Black panels look so much better than tan ones, go for it
