I am trying to figure out how to install ac switch...PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND ignorantly...I installed a new dash on a 1990 E30 Vert. Everything lines up and works(shocker) and fits perfect except the ac switch. The connector is hitting against the cables. Switch will not stay in!!! Anyone ever run into this situation?

The bowden cables for the sliders have a retaining clip right around the rear of the AC button which should prevent the problem you are having. Id check that the sliders are working but even then those cables are tricky to get right.Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch.
