    Mounting Check Pannel

I had removed the check pannel from both my vert and coupe when I replaced interior trim and now they both fall out on every bump. It looked like the pannel was glued in on the vert and had a small metal plate bracing it, but nothing like that on the coupe.

How are they supposed to be secured to the trim?

They clip in. Once you remove them however, the cardboard on the trim gets all messed up and doesn't want to hold them in like it used to. I always use some clear silicone because its easy to remove later for service.

i figured that they would just be wedged in there and that the cardboard was shot, so i'm just going to use some epoxy i have laying around the house. the appeal of pushing it back up every 15 seconds has been gone for months now.

Just don't use any hardcore glue incase you want to remove it later.
