question about interiors

i've brought a new 325i e30 and the problem is they're very strict on it being in road worthy condition. I don't know how different it is from the us and other places but my front passenger seat is pretty ripped up being leather and my friend doesn't think it'll pass inspection.

just wondering if it will be cheaper to reupholster the thing or buy a whole new seat?

i was actually thinking of getting a whole new interior colour. This cars being gray i was thinking an all black.


another problem is no here is selling seats on ebay or gumtree but then again i haven't tried the local wreckers or anything.

Is it possible to get seats shipped over?

Why not grab a seat from the wrecker, swap it in for the inspection, then take it out right afterwards and do whatever you want to?
