knob removal from sport seat ????

so im taking my sport seats apart for repair and all the write ups dont mention it, so il ask here.

how the hell does the knob of the side of the drivers come off? it adjusts the pad behind your knees. ive turned both ways and tried pulling straight out, i dont want to wrench on it to hard and break it.

Sadly, they do pry off and yes they are a biotch. Id use 2 screwdrivers at opposite sides and put something firm beneath them so you dont damage the seat.
