            I usually just drink out of a bottle so I can just screw the cap on and leave it on the passenger seat.

                    Not bad, I liked my integrated one I had years back, I would do it again but I don't think either of my e30s will have an interior pretty soon here so no point in chopping things up. There was a write up a long time ago, probably 2006-7, where he did a really good job of making it look stock, probably where stereoinstaller and clay got their idea from.

                        I am the OP for this post and I just got and install this cup holder, looks nice and material is metal and the seller is very very good and detail, I have him put in the lighter spot and USB port for my application...nice and I will recommend him :D
