    Sparco Seats

I am in need of some new seats, bad. I was going to get the stock ones recovered until I heard that they were going to cost me 1200-1300 bucks. Thats fine but I want some aftermarket seats. I found an E30 base kit and a slider kit for the sparco's. My only concern is that I read a forum that said that a convertible's cockpit is smaller. Would this effect what seats I can put in? Has anyone installed sparco's? If so what do you think of them?
These are the ones I am looking at.

    Thanks

The rear seat is smaller in the cab, but not the front seat/area. Recaro SRDs fit, and they are a pretty big seat:

You can see how they are pretty close to the door, but they make it. You might want to search on line for their measurements and compare to the Sparco's.

For what its worth, I charge $750 to recover a set of front seats in leather. I also have several aftermarket seats for sale if you're interested (the SRDs, a set of fixed Corbeaus, and some Recaros).

Nice rebirth but I have found some seats that I am considering. They are from Jeg's and made of vinyl. I wanted to change my vert over to black interior but just found an e30 M3 that might be mine if the price is right. I just sat in them today, I fit, they are comfortable and only $200.00 each and match the tan interior perfect. After seeing these I really don't want to spend $800.00 a piece for a seat from sparco. Has anyone had any experience with these? What do you think? They are going into my vert and this is another reason that I am really contemplating on going to a black interior

They are really comforable and hug really good. I am just worried about sticking when its hot. I am planning on tinting the windows to match the smoked rear window though so that should help with alittle heat

The Jeg's seats look interesting, but they are wider than the stock seats at 22 inches. These look like a good low cost seat for those of us that do not really fit into the BMW Sport seats. If you go with these post pictures once they are in. I am very interested in seeing if these fit the E30.

Okay so I was kinda delt another curve ball today. I was looking online and came across some vaders for a great price. The vaders a dove grey and are in great condition. I know it takes some fab but where there is a will there is a way. Also this would take care of alittle bit of heat..grey vs. black I know but thats why I said alittle bit.

So here is the question...Did E30 verts come in a grey that is comparable to the dove grey?

                        Thanks

I just don't want my vert to look like a black one I saw in the media threads. It had racing seats that basically closed the front off from the back

E30's did come with a grey interior but its a lot darker than dove.

I could paint the panels and get the back seat recovered if I am going to waste that much money I will just go black vaders and switch everything black. Can I get all panels recovered? I knokw I can get seats and rear shelf of the vert but can I get the door panels and other stuff redone
