I have a set of front and rear very seats that I was going to try and add foam to the sides and get them to fit. My mother owns an upholstery business and I've helped her from time to time so I've kind of done something similar. I'm still debating on doing it or not.

poorboyz- thats exactly my plan, its the same frame work as an M3 but with 3" of foam cut off the sides.

I've been thinking about this. Wouldn't it be easier to just build up the foam on a standard rear bench to turn it into buckets?

Yep, just like that. Archie's seat came out nicely.

I've been looking for a smaller sized armrest mechanism I can use also. I want to put a lukebox in my car and I think a fold down would look cleaner than acoustic cloth or perforations in the seat surface. Plus, no chance of tearing.
