    removing ebrake handle..

    for the life of me I can't get that thing off. what's the trick? I'm about to cut the damn thing out of there.

      does it snap on there or something? my stupid cup holder is in the way too. I guess it's time to remove it finally, it needs to go for the 5 speed swap anyawy.

        mine doesn't snap on or anything...just hit it from the back and it should slide off. Its not gonna come off in one hit though...it takes a lot.

        I have a rubber bfh for stuff like this

        yeah it may help to move the cup holders

          I ended up jamming a screwdriver under it, hitting it with a hammer and it split in half. take that bitch! :twisted:

          cupholder is now gone.. I never realized how cramped it made my interior seem. anyone want a heavily used BMW cupholder?

            yeah I used to have a cup holder...I took it and the ebrake console out...much roomier now. I made a piece to go over the hole on the shift console out of the ebrake one. It looks pretty nice actually.

              if your getting a new ebrake handle anyways and its being a real bitch, just cut it down the middle and that would be an easy way....i just pulled hard on mine a bunch of times to get it off.
