    don't have any right now.

    I did the e30 M3 rear instead of the e36 M3 seats.

I'll get pictures up on saturday.

Oh, OK. I was wondering about the e36 rear. I had one in for a year and never really installed it 'properly'.

yeah mine were fold down seats, so they bulged in the back.

it is IMPOSSIBLE to put them in flush without cutting out the metal backing of the car.

the non fold down ones however (which is what you have right???) fit nicer but still require a little fabbing.

could someone post pics of what sort of bracket spacer is needed.

are the E36 shallower in height then the E30 ones. even my normal comfort seats make me feel a little to high on the lowest setting.

I've seriously thought about replacing my front seats with vadars. My seats are trashed mechanically (broken frames, backrest adjustment hardly works) even though they look new. Vadars are hard to find though.

I have a couple of pics of my installed e36 sport seats at:

                http://www.apexeta.com/bmw.html

I used 1"x3" rectangle tube steel, about 12" long (or as long as your sliders are), one on each side of the seat. It lifts an already taller-based seat an inch higher, but it's not too bad.

I'm looking to trade for e30 spot seats for weight reduction, so if anyone interested... my black leather, electric, heated sport seats are for sale.

Even the regular e36 seats are significantly heavier than the e30 ones... I'd venture a guess at 50% more.
