How to remove e30 steering wheel without ignition key?

as promised, here are the vids of me trying to get the steering wheel off without ignition key.

I managed to break another e30 key in the ignition, after hammering in a flat head and trying to break the ignition pin. didn't work.

I consider the vids to be NSFW due to by ignorant and foul mouthed ranting.

Out of curiosity, what were you trying to accomplish? Am I mistaken in seeing that the wheel is ruined and the column probably damaged?

As I side note, I once spent six hours trying to hacksaw one off at a Pnp. I gave up, went home and returned with a generator and reciprocating saw. Took about 2 mins to saw through the column. The look on the operator's face when Sea Aych and I walked out with that equipment was priceless.
