Vert driver-side sun visor clear plastic pouch (how to put new one on?)

Like all convertible driver-side sun visors, the clear plastic pouch has turned the brown/yellow color. I also believe these sun visors new are NLA.

Does anyone know how to put on a new plastic pouch for the driver sun visor?

Mine looked like it had been heat-welded to the visor's vinyl cover.

Very true. If I brought the sun visor to a shop that does leather seats and installs convertible tops, would they be able to heat-weld a new plastic piece to the sun visor?

If you can figure this out, let me know. I've wanted to replace mine for a while too. I think the visor had the convertible top sequence instructions printed on the plastic and I would love to replace those too, if possible...

Not OEM, but replica of the original instructions:

Thanks! I didn't realize these were slotted into the pocket!

Yup certainly were. Slid in the clear pocket and slid out of the pocket if needed.

Now, that one for sale is for the manual convertible top. I bought mine from them and they delivered as promised.

Here is a website that sells English or German and Manual Top or Automatic Top instructions. I have not used this site, so I can not recommend them. They might be legit, I just do not know. http://www.pukardesigns.com/#!produc...struction-card

Edit to my above post. I am returning the one I got from Ebay. It does not look authentic, it looks more like a copy.

I just placed an order with the other company: http://www.pukardesigns.com/

I spoke with the pukardesigns.com company and he also emailed me an up close/detail shot of the instruction card and it looks much more authentic in the picture than the one I received. I will update this thread once I receive it in the mail.

I received the one from www.pukardesigns.com

PLEASE, PLEASE, if you are looking to purchase this instruction card then buy it from pukardesign.com as his card looks like an original OEM BMW item while the one from the Ebay vendor looks like a bad copy.

I actually have my original. has a tiny hole in it but perfect other than that. I'll compare it to any of these repros if anyone wants
