    Alcantara Re-Trim

Here are some photos of my console, dash and door cards re-trimmed in alcantara with M triple stripe stitching.

I will post more photos when everything is back in the car.

Looks awesome. Diy? What was the cost, even the fabric alone is expensive.

Not a DIY mate. I wanted it down right and knew that I wouldn't be able to achieve the results I wanted if I tried it myself.

The fabric is damn expensive. $AUD250 per metre.

All up it cost me about $2k.

Is there any fitment issues with the added material on the dash? I am wanting to do this too, but afraid it will make the dash too large to fit back in the car!

I haven't re-installed the interior as the car is being completely re-wired.

Having said that, I have sat the dash in position and there will be no fitment issues at all. The fabric is quite thin so there is not much thickness added at all.

Is it me, or is the stitching all over the place in the pic????

The stitching is all dead straight (stitched before being fitted). It appears a little off because of the way the fabric stretched over that part of the console.
