Problem with sport seats in a sedan

I recently put a sport seat in my 4-door 1991 318i and it does not appear to slide back far enough for my comfort. I'm 6', so it's not like I'm some kind of giant, but I need a couple more inches of rear travel in the sliders.
The sliders appear to be maxed out in their rearward travel.

Are the 4 mounting holes in the floor of the car body positioned closer to the steering wheel in the 4-door cars? (It's an airbag car if that matters at all. i don't think it does.)

I've searched and nobody seems to have had this problem.

what a weird problem. I have never heard of this, and I have interchanged sports/comforts between sedans, coupes, and convertibles. I wish I could have some insight for you. You are sure they are all the way back on the rails?

Make sure the seat are seated equally on the sliders.

Push down on the front lever and the seats should go lower and farther back.

There is a stop plate screwed to the bottom of the tracks and they differ from car to car.
