    Are My Seats Original?

Quick question for those who know E30 interiors. I have a 1986 325es with houndstooth sport seats and rear seats, which come with matching headrests. It's a coupe, by the way. What makes me wonder is the fact that, in the back of the trunk, there is a slot cut open for a ski bag, but the seat doesn't have any opening whatsoever. It is just foam blocking the bag from going anywhere. Could this be that the rear seat was replaced, or is the interior a swap from another car? I have always wondered. Thank you for the help!

Yes, some 86es did come with sport houndstooth. Just post your vin or decode your vin to view all original options.

All cars produced late 84 - on had a punch out ski pass whether you had a rear seat with armrest or not. Chances are it was punched out for a subwoofer.
