Relocating A/C controls?

Hey fellas,

Does anyone have a good write-up or perhaps just some picture examples of cars with relocated A/C controls? I've tried searching, but to no avail. I'm mostly interested in moving A/C controls to open up space to do a full double-din navi-type headunit. Moving the A/C controls beneath their existing location is what's seen in the example photo below.

major surgery bro. the hvac panel has mechanical controls with bowden cables that attach to the hvac unit behind it. you'd have to redesign those.
