Glovebox trim panel fitment?

    Glovebox trim panel fitment?

    When I bought my car, the two panels that go above and alongside the glovebox cavity in the dash were not installed. I believe I have all the hardware, plus the trim pieces. This evening I finally tried reinstalling these parts. However, I don't have an example on which to base my assembly.

    Everything seemed to go together okay until I tried to close the glovebox. The rear side of the glovebox, closest to the HVAC unit is colliding with the engine harness. This wasn't an issue before, but the harness is in a different location than before because of how I routed it through the trim panel.

    Could somebody snap a picture or two of their car showing these panels installed correctly and the harness routed correctly?

    I know somebody has a car and a smartphone and can snap a quick picture or two.

      It's not that hard to figure out. Left panel has 1 screw in front and a twist lock on the bottom side. This panel hooks behind the dash. The top panel has 3 screws in front and 2 twist locks in the back. Pretty straight forward.

        Yeah, thanks. As I said, I was able to logically put it together. Just like you said, as it turns out. However, the glovebox does not shut because it runs into the engine harness. I'd like to see a picture that would clue me into the the proper positioning of the harness.
