    Shifter knob falling off

i have a shifter knob with three set screws and it´s always untightening... Will loctite be enough? What are you guys doing with this?

Loctite helps, i have had better success with set screws that don't go all the way into a point, like these.

One out of three is like that... Will Replace the two others if loctite doesn't succeed, Thanks!

My home depot has a nice selection of random fasteners I used to solve the same problem. Check yours!

Take a drill that is just small enough to fit through the threaded holes in the knob. With the knob sitting in place, drill a small divot into the shift lever. This will give something for a pointed set screw to "lock" into. Then use thread locker to keep the set screws tight.
