Glove box stuck.

My glove compartment door is stuck, and I can't open it. Has anyone ever had the same problem? How the hell to I get it to open without breaking it?

Is it that the lever does nothing when you pull it?

If so mine did this. The solution was to reach behind the lever with a thin screw driver and push the actual actuatoe (moves left to right) Then you can remove the mechanism that actuates the glove box if necesary.
