unless its a bottle, the passenger is either holding it or there isn't a open drink in the car.
bottles go in crevice by the ebrake or by the ash tray.

I have one of these and swear by it - holds a biggie size coke or a small water bottle, no issues, no spills...no matter how fast you take the turns!

$25 for a cupholder seems crazy - but is one of the best purchases I made to save myself the frustration and balancing act normally found in an E30 at the drive thru!

Easy to remove and install - no drilling, taping, glueing, etc.

I have the "Factory" center arm rest with the pull out cup holder from Bav Auto. Vibrates like crazy sometimes when not in use.

I don't eat or drink in my car..

I did have the factory arm rest, but it drove me nuts (rattles, squeaks, etc). I finally ripped it out a couple months ago, yeah the arm rest was kinda nice but I don't miss it at all. I think it would have been annoying after the 5 speed swap too.

No cup holders for me. Very rarely do I eat or drink in my car like nando.

When I need it to hold something, I jam a bottle or whatever between my pass seat and the tranny tunnel. Works great! :)

i'll see, I like that one where it slips under the center console and hugs the side, but no drilling or any crazy modification, like to keep it stock as possible

well, in my case, if i ever dont like it, i get a new ebrake console and move on, drilling or cutting certain parts isnt a big deal.

i never liked sticking it between the center consol and the seats, but between the door and the seat works perfect! i would hate to start cutting things just to hold a cup, but that idea with the porting material actually looks pretty decent!

I use that "ultimate cup holder" too. I think I need to use a pin or something to hold it down on the bottom, because if I take turns too fast cans can slip out the bottom. I do like that it doesn't require drilling and the position it's in.
