    New shift knob

The POS leather B&M shift knob that I had decided to come apart on me when I was trying to adjust it to fit better (damn thing mounts onto the lever with threaded shims, it never stayed put). So it gave me an excuse to buy a new one, I got a Momo Short Anatomic. $42.00 shipped from Neuspeed.com, and it fits perfectly and looks tits. Nice and short, to compliment the SSK. Not that big of a deal, but I just thought it was cool. Always good to show products that others might be interested in.

what is involved in putting the e36 window switches in e30's?

Thanks. I didn't think it would take long for someone to ask about the switches.

Here's a link to my write-up, with pics:

Josh, where did you get that shift boot? Was it one made by Rob?

Me too, and it looks better with the leather boots, and also with my leather ebrake handle (e36 M3).

I think he means the shorter, weighted M knob.
